I’ve seen that look on Presti’s face in the bottom left panel, it says:
“When this is all over I’m going to get good and drunk and quite possibly have a nervous breakdown, I earned it, it’s mine and nobody is going to take it away from me !!”
Not because of Presti room. The slime in the treasury room (which as far as we know is the same being as the one shown here) was also shown to be purple.
OT – I watched the movie Honor among Thieves the other day. I recommend it to any D&D fan.
Now that I think about it, there is a Gelatinous Cube, a Mimic, and (briefly) TWO Rust Monsters in that movie. Although none of them got a talking part.
You could argue the Cube helped saving the day, but it was not on purpose on its part.
One of the heroes is a Paladin. For some reason, every two minutes, I was muttering “This is what Paladins do”.
Indeed, it’s a wonderful movie… silly at times, but in the way that actual gaming can often be silly. And I *did* love the scene where the paladin departs, striding purposefully down the beach as the others look on and snark…
When they walk in Neverwinter the first time, there are two small rust monsters on top of a wooden beam, fighting over what seemed to be a coin. They only appear for about two seconds.

What you needed was with you all the time.
The true diplomacy was the friends we made along the way…
Grape and Lime jello should never meet!
Purple slime because it’s Presti’s room?

I don’t know what that is, but if it’s a homebrew monster, I want the statblock after the chapter ends.
Strength 18
Dexterity 6
Constitution 18
Intellect ??
Wisdom ??
Charisma ??
It’s moving a castle. STR is probably a little higher than 18 (or even 18/00).
That’s the work of the golem powder animating the castle. As far as we know, the slime is incapable of moving the castle on its own.

I don’t remember any rust monsters. What scene were they in?

Good thing the party tank has pretty high Charisma.
I in fact have the feeling that he has all 20s in stats
He’s got six perfect, even sides to him.
I know! Look at him! Smooth as silk, and not a blemish on him!

Did the castle’s builder have a wife who met an unfortunate end?
She burned, fell over, and then sank into the swamp.
It’s purple, folks. Purple was considered the color of royalty. The castle is literally lined with royal jelly.
