This is one of the best ideas for a guest-art break I’ve ever seen.
Wow. This is such a good idea. xD Having all these fights break out using the Re-Genre belt with guest artists.
Huh. A zombie apocalypse where the people you don’t like become the zombies. That’s one way to win…
Wait, no. Stabs is the one wearing the belt there. Apparently she thought it was a good idea to turn herself into a mindless zombie.
I am little confused about how exactly the belt is changing hands. Are those images in right order?
That thing is oddly stealable. It’s like everyone just reflexively slackens grip on it the moment someone else grabs it.
Well, if past strips are anything to go by (https://rustyandco.com/comic/level-2-15-2/), it seems to jump to whoever touches it.
My impression was that the belt is random and the only way to get to the result you want is to use it again and again and again and again until you do reach said result you want.
Cube immediately got cubist, though.
My impression is that it’s an artifact that takes some finessing… sometimes you get what you want, sometimes you don’t, and either way, you don’t necessarily get to decide your role in the new genre.
Anybody else notice the little decorative rust monsters in the borders of the second panel?
