Oy. We who are about to Die … Sorry. Too many slice-n-dice puns rattling around the ole brain box.

Your fault anyway. I’m still tripping from last week’s acid-dropping episode.

You know the Cube’s motto: Turn up, tune out, drop on.

You know, I’d ask how he threw the spear, but there’s probably some obscure variant of a gelatinous cube somewhere that can use its surface tension as a gripping surface and yadda yadda yadda, so I’ll just cut it short and say I’m wildly entertained.

A thousand hearts for still writing and drawing this. I love every strip.

I must compliment ANY story that is told without dialogue. Here you tell the story without dialogue OR facial expressions OR body language. It’s a very cliched story, but still an impressive feat. One last note – I like the reflections off Cube’s surface as she oozes away from the burning city, but I’d have been even more impressed seeing the flames dimly through her. (I say “she” and “her” because “it” seems rude, and the coin came up heads.)

That’s right, while they were saving the princes, the green cube went into a parody of Planet Hulk

So you could say he had experiences equal to theirs, “cubed”? (math joke if you don’t get it)

I don’t get the joke in the alt-text. Why Russel Crowe specifically? (I’m probably overthinking this, maybe the author just pulled a name out of a hat.)

Cube’s gladiator victory is inspired by the movie, “Gladiator,” starring Crowe.
