One comic about discount magic items is good, but updates to Dinkum’s Shop are better. And that definitely has more items than when I last checked (though that was a while ago).
Given that, the last time we got some of these “discount magic items”, several of them wound up having major roles in the comic, I wonder if we’ll see any of these again…
It’s appropriate that Stabs is the model for Eyes of the Beagle. I can definitely see her making good use of them, especially in convincing an inebriated customer to pay their tab that night instead of later.
Also, the Croak of Protection reminds me of a webcomic where one of the characters got turned into a frog and somehow ended up in a lich’s skull. That ended badly for the lich as his casting attempts kept getting interrupted by loud croaking.

That one is a throwback to Critical Missive #10.
Also #17.
Remember the Recanter of Endless Water first appeared in Critical Missives.
Well, at least Mimic seems in a better mood, now.
He’s in a good mood!

They did?
The Recanter of Endless Water did in Castle Life.
And I still think the Bag of Molding might have been related to the spread of the mushrooms.
You’re absolutely right, I forgot the recanter was part of that minibike!

“Croak of Protection” sounds useful for a Bullywug.
