It probably sucks to be a melee class when you’re Diminutive, but as an upside her body mass to beer mug volume ratio has changed very favorably. I bet a lot of people would be jealous when they realize she effectively buys a swimming pool worth of beer for the price of one drink.
Well she can’t do much in the way of damage, but as a diminutive creature she’ll have an amazing size bonus to her attack rolls and AC. Assuming they’re using the 3.5 rules of course; in 4E her odds of hitting anyone aren’t that great! (Not to mention she has zero reach and thus is an awful Defender!)
Poison will be very useful until she can afford to purchase magic enhancements for her weapons. The scythe may only deal 1d2 damage, but the Flaming and Fiery Burst enchantments will still add a respectable amount (2d6 for Fiery I think, maybe 1d6 more for the Burst).

Who is the guy reading the mails? I have no memory of him.
YOU DARE FORGET CALAMITUS?!
Is that the guard from the mindflayer mafia? haven’t seen him in awhile…
Sir Malevolus, that’s the name
Naturally. Guy with that much sense, you don’t expect him to hang about much.
It is, isn’t it? This is obviously some kind of blackguard bar.
Ouch, looks like that bank scam caught up to him.
Is it me, or does Yuan-Tiffany look like the Grinch in that shot?
I don’t think you look anything like the Grinch.
You’re right! She totally does!

On the other hand, carrying the price of one drink could be difficult.
Hands up… Who went back to see if they could spot anti-madie in Y.T’s hat!!!
*raises hand*
ZOD dammit… now I have to go check too…
